 For our growing team, we are looking for enthusiastic team members to take an active role as a Financial Reporting and Consolidation Senior Specialist to be based in YILPORT Holding Headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or closely related fields,
• Have minimum 5 years of experience at independent audit firms (preferably Big 4 audit companies)
• Written and oral fluency in English is a must (Spanish, Portuguese as a second language is preferred),
• Strong knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS/TFRS and auditing in accordance with ISA/BDS and good understanding of IFRS/TMS reporting,
• Preferably has a CPA (SMMM) Certificate,
• Professional knowledge of ERP Programs (preferably SAP and HFM),
• Professional knowledge of MS Applications (Word, Excel and Power Point),
• Strong facilitation, presentation, reporting, and research skills,
• A ‘can do’ approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description,
• Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment,
• Have customer, quality, process, and result-driven approach,
• Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks according to deadlines,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels,
• Good team player with strong problem solving and negotiation skills,
• Able to travel abroad when required,
• Completed military service for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager, Financial Reporting and Consolidation Senior Specialist will be mainly responsible for IFRS coordination of YILPORT Group Companies. Additional responsibilities will be as follows:

• Work in close relationship with External Auditors and the reporting team of Group Companies,
• Responsible for IFRS coordination of Companies of Yılport Holding abroad,
• Provide guidance and supervision to related departments on accounting and reporting issues,
• Ensure accurate, high-quality IFRS adjustments according to IFRS and Group requirements,
• Follow up the Group updates on accounting policies and assess the effects on our financials, communicate those effects to related parties,
• Assist the consolidation process including the recording of consolidating entries, reconciliation of inter-company and investment in subsidiary transactions,
• Coordinate additional reporting activities if required,
• Be responsible for preparing stand-alone and consolidated IFRS/TFRS reports annually within deadlines,
• Be responsible for preparing stand-alone IFRS group packages semi-annually within deadlines,
• Give support to external audit companies,
• Provide explanations and analytical review of group financials,
• Take part or lead the projects coordinate with Yıldırım Group when required.
