QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Yılmaden Holding, established in 2014, is the metals and mining division of Yıldırım Group of Companies, a fast-growing industrial conglomerate based in Istanbul, Turkey. At Yılmaden, we work together across all business units located in 7 different countries with one objective that is extracting the valuable minerals such as chromite from the ground and turn it into ferroalloys, chrome metals and chemicals.

For our growing organization, we are looking for a new team member, an IFRS Senior Specialist to join our growing finance team, to be based in Maslak Office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       BSc/MSc degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance etc.

·       Minimum 4 years of experience in a related area

·       Minimum 4 years of experience at independent audit firms (preferably Big 4 audit companies)

·       Strong knowledge of accounting in accordance with IFRS/TFRS

·       Experience or strong interest in research, analysis on IFRS

·       Written and oral fluency in English (Russian as a second language is preferred)

·       Holding a CPA degree is a plus

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,

·       High level of communication, interpersonal and prioritizing skills

·       Ability to work under pressure and adapt to strict deadlines

·       Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS Office

·       SAP knowledge is beneficial    

·       Hyperion experience is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·       Building IFRS reporting according to the standards

·       Developing reporting calendars for financial closings and consolidation processes

·       Preparing comprehensive consolidated IFRS reports with disclosures in compliant with the reporting standards

·       Analyzing and consolidating the needs for comprehensive IFRS reports

·       Coordinating the consolidation process and controlling the consolidation packs on reporting periods basis

·       Preparing elimination adjustments to the form consolidated financial statements

·       Supporting and guiding the financial reporting processes and making sure these processes are in line with the regulations and procedures

·       Monitoring accounting processes according to the policies and the standards

·       Working in close relationship with External Auditors and the reporting team of foreign Group Companies

·       Providing guidance and supervision to related departments on accounting and reporting issues

        Following up the Group updates on accounting policies and assess the effects on our financials, communicate those effects to related entities
