Experience, Education and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/E&E/ Aircraft & Aerospace engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields and min. 3 year experience in Functional Safety
• Knowledge and functional experience with ISO standards for functional safety (e.g. ISO 61508, EN 13849, ISO 26262)
• Experience in quality assurance, writing and managing requirements (including traceability and requirements management tools).
• Experience in writing test cases and testing on vehicle level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong self-motivation, ability to promote new ideas, share them with the team and develop them further together
• Ability to understand and improve cross-departmental processes in interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English  
• Ability to work abroad and with a global team

Responsibilities:

• Perform Hazard and Risk Analysis
• Derive and decompose ASIL Ratings
• Derive Functional Safety Requirements
• Perform safety analysis activities (FMEAs, FTAs, etc)
• Perform Item Integration and Testing on Vehicle Level
