We are looking for  'Data Analyst" to join our Technical & Actuary team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistic, Mathematics, Physics and Computing would be advantageous,

• Advanced level of English,

• Advanced Excel, Access and strong analytical skills,

• Knowledge of SQL and/or SAS would be a big plus,

• Experience in data analysis software skills – MS office, VBA on excel,

• Previous experience of working in an analytical and underwriting role,

• Knowledge of Cognos or Data Qube, Qlik and SSRS would be advantageous,

• A high level of numeracy with good written and verbal communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will be mainly responsible for;

• To process and analyse the data in context, looking for patterns to help/facilitate the Underwriting Team make decisions,

• Support teams to build KPI’s and implement them via data gathering,

• To design and produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly statistics and analysis,

• Ensure Business Intelligence processes are documented,

• To work with IT Development and Support to make sure that databases and processes support the business intelligence reporting tool,

• Working with IT to automate any manual processes,

• To have in place all appropriate models, information and processes to monitor, track and evaluate all trends, both internal and external, that may impact the pricing and financial performance of the products,

• Prepare analysis and performance reports for the Commercial and Senior Management Team,

• Ad hoc reporting as and when required,

• Resposibility of technical tools like Qlik and R Studio.
