The name of the extension of Canadian mining company Eldorado Gold Corporation, which was created with 100% participation in Turkey, is Tüprag Metal Madencilik San. ve Tic. A.Ş.

The Kışladağ Gold Mine, which started production in 2006, is the largest gold mine in Europe and continues to operate as an exemplary gold mine with a gold production capacity of 12.5 tons per year.

Requirements and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering,

At least 3 years of experience in the works carried out within the scope of the relevant Environmental Regulation,

Experience in Environmental Regulations,

Experience of working on EIA and relevant regulation,

Fluent in English,

Good knowledge of waste management,

Good knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System,

Experience is in the mining industry,

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to work within the Environmental Department.

The role requires working on wide range of environmental projects which will involve interfacing with clients, contractors and other consultants providing environmental management expertise:

Measurement, analysis and reporting within the scope of environmental permits (wastewater, noise, emission etc.),

Carry out environmental studies in accordance with the EIA regulation,

To determine the environmental impacts and to managing the environmental dimensions and to take the necessary precautions,

Carry out the operational activities of water and wastewater infrastructure facilities,

To ensure that all kinds of waste (hazardous, non-hazardous, packaging waste, electrical and electronic equipment, oil, etc.) generated in the fields of activity are recycled in accordance with the relevant regulations,

Within the scope of national/international (TSM, IFC, EBRD) legislation, air quality, underground and surface water quality, noise and vibration, biodiversity etc. Coordinating and reporting environmental monitoring activities,

Make technical studies such as erosion control, rehabilitation projects, recycling projects and ensuring coordination with relevant departments,

Take part in coordination and studies on mining waste management,

Plan the periodic controls, maintenance, and measurements to be made in the workplace, ensuring the implementation of the prepared plans,

Apply the environmental management plan is maintained in accordance with the legal regulations in mining activities,

Apply the plan and implementation of environmental internal audit,

Apply the organization and implementation of the necessary organization for environmental education.
