Global Quality Engineer

• BS/BA in engineering, quality management, business, or related field of study
• Advanced degree preferred but not required
• 2+ years experience as a Quality Engineer
• Unbiased, objective, and data-driven
• Experience in investigations and data analysis
• Experience in product and process quality
• Strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills at all levels—comfortable on the production floor and in the meeting room
• Understanding of manufacturing metrics such as # of NCRs, # of SDRs, and COQ

• English fluency and fluency in the local language of the site/region.

Responsibilities

•  Leads programs to improve quality metrics such as # of NCRs, # of SDRs, and CO 

• Leads the implementation of Global Quality Initiatives in their sites

•  Leads activities focused on improving process quality as opposed to relying on inspection

• Ensures that customer requirements are understood and followed.

•  Has the authority to stop production or delivery of suspect product

• Coaches colleagues in global procedures and requirements

• Creates and promotes a culture of collaboration, team-work and fun while delivering to or exceeding expectations
