Financial Controller

We are looking for financial controller who are willing to work in multinational company’s Turkey office. SPGPrints is a Holland based pioneer and leading company in textile printing business. Our fields of activities are conventional and also digital textile printing (both machine and also consumables), label printing and also printing preparation equipment’s for textile, label and industrial printing.

Job description:

Responsible for compilation, review, analysis of and reporting on the Company’s financial information. Provide financial decision support to senior management.  Works directly with the Managing Director and will manage / oversee the day-to-day Finance functions and operations.

Job responsibilities:

Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

•                     Manages financing, accounting, financial planning and reporting, corporate taxes and budgeting activities of the company.

•                     Responsible for tax compliance in Turkey in coordination with local tax advisor.

•                     Prepares, or supervises the preparation of, reports which summarize and forecast the company’s financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings. Satisfies all internal and external financial reporting requirements.

•                     Recommends and implements improvements in reporting and decision support.

•                     Reviews system of internal controls, recommends and implements improvements.

•                     Directs preparation of budgets, operational and strategic plans.

•                     Manages the department budget.

•                     Oversees the management of the company’s fixed assets.

•                     Responsible for proper transaction processing within the company selected manufacturing software.

•                     Performs cash forecasting.

•                     Oversees management of the company inventory.

•                     Liaise with corporate HQ in the Netherlands, both finance function (Group control / CFO / IT) and business (supply chain, commercial management).

•                     Participate in monthly progress review meetings with company MD and group management.

Job requirements:

•                     Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance from university; with minimum 3 years related experience and/or training.  Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (preferably also IFRS).

•                     Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

•                     CPA required.

•                     Good command of verbal and written English (German is also plus)

•                     Good command of Microsoft Office Applications (especially practice in MSExcel)
