Production Manager

General Qualifications: 

• Graduated preferably from the Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering departments of universities, 

• At least 10 years of experience in the oil units (Presses and Extraction section), 

• Knowledgeable in plant machinery and production stages, 

• Capable of carrying out the necessary activities within the framework of occupational safety and quality standards, 

• Experience in production processes, planning, reporting and operational processes, 

• Able to take an active role in commissioning of new investment projects, 

• Strong communication skills, capable of realizing production targets together with the team members directly reporting to him/her; visionary, dynamic and result-oriented, 

• Having strong decision-making, problem-solving skills and leadership qualities, quality-oriented and initiative, 

• Good command of MS Office programs, 

• Good command of English.

Job Description: 

• Ensuring efficiency and continuity of the current production operation, 

• Organizing the production team to work in coordination with all departments working at the production, 

• Playing an active role in fulfilling the requirements of total quality management, 

• Ensuring the production targets are realized in accordance with the company policies, within the designated time period, quantity and quality, 

• Managing all employees to increase productivity and reduce costs, 

• Determining the necessary systems and methods by constantly following the new developments and literature to increase productivity and quality, 

• Monitoring the capacity utilization of the factory, and managing the activities to increase the potential capacity, 

• Taking initiative to solve the problems that may arise in production, 

• Ensuring that production maintenance and repair works are carried out in accordance with the relevant procedures and instructions, 

• Creating a daily, weekly, monthly production schedule and submitting it to senior management, 

• Ensuring the knowledge and skill level of the employees are kept high, improving and monitoring their performance, 

• Ensuring coordination between production and sales.
