QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- A Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Additional language is a plus.(Russian)
- Must be certified on all Pilates apparatus, as our studios are fully equipped, and have completed a Pilates training with a minimum of 300 hours
- Understand the principles of physical fitness and proper exercise technique
- Knowledge of injury prevention and basic rehabilitation
- Operational knowledge of resistance training equipment and proper form
- A passion for fitness and helping others reach their health and wellness goals

Reporting To: Fitness Manager
Scope- Responsible for developing personalized exercise programs for guests and assisting them during their workouts.
- Promote lifelong adherence to a health and fitness program through realistic goal setting and education.
- Provide members with in-depth information on equipment usage, lifestyle management, and ultimately, how to design their own personal fitness program
- Teach all assigned group classes on a consistent and regular basis
- Be available to substitute teach whenever possible
- Make guests' safety and enjoyment your number one priority
- Commit to the position as a business professional
- Know and follow all standard operating procedures, policies and guidelines
- Operate studio stereo equipment properly, with music at sound levels that are appropriate to class type and intensity, but also safe for students and not disruptive to the adjacent studio (where applicable)
- Ensure all equipment and props are properly used during class and properly put away / stored after class
