We are expanding our Marketing team and now we are looking for a new team member as a Marketing Manager who wants to thrive on challenges! If you can’t hide your energy, have a hearty appetite for growth, we are looking for you! Don’t worry, we like to have fun when we are working.

So, what is this role about?

As the Marketing Manager, you’ll be fully responsible for managing a team of marketers to maximize platform performance for seamless customer experience, to increase brand awareness for us to reach more happy customers! You will oversee and improve processes, launch new products, manage marketing calendars, announce daily/monthly campaigns and partnerships, produce ATL campaigns and anything that you can imagine to grow our business. What we expect from you?

You will manage our most valuable asset, our PRODUCT! We are a technology platform and we love DIGITAL! We want to make our customers’ lives easy and more enjoyable. With this vision, we have developed and are still improving our simple, easy-to-use and straightforward insurance comparison& purchase platform although the backbone is very complex and dependent.  We want you to maintain and develop our most valuable asset. Check out the specific expectations for this:

  • Operate as the product owner, the go-to-person for all stakeholders such as IT, Data, Marketing, and more. They’ll know you, but no one else.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to execute marketing strategy for all products and programs that assures optimum customer satisfaction and user experience, and also assures improving business outcomes. Always keep asking the same question over and over again: “How can I improve the platform?” 
  • Do extensive benchmark researches and know the ins and outs of that product’s nature. Do not hesitate to test new things, but also do not forget to analyze the results to bring the best outcome from these invaluable tests.
  • Act like an executer! Think long-term, but do not forget to bring short-term results on the table for quick wins!
  • Act like the user of your product! Is it good enough to satisfy you? If no, then you need do something! Come up with some ideas!

Who we are looking after:

  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities (engineering, business administration, economy etc.). Masters degree is a plus
  • At least 6 years product/segment management experience preferably in user-experience-focused tech-driven environments. E-commerce experience is a plus.
  • At least 2 years team management experience with at least 2 direct reports.
  • Proven record of defining and delivering end-to-end, user-centered products that consider user research, market analysis, data, customer feedback, and technical constraints and opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate with the engineering team on tactical technical decisions.
  • Proven experience establishing strong working relationships with a wide range of team members.
  • A real passion for problem solving. Excitement about everything related to growth.
  • Ability to manage complex initiatives with limited supervision.
  • “Analyze first, act second” mindset.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills.
  • A great initiative taker, ability to initiate projects through ideas that have high business contribution.
  • Ability to be self-motivated.
  • Detail-obsessed attitude.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and coordinate different parties of the projects.
  • Ability to deliver fast, business-focused output of excellent quality.
  • Enthusiasm for working in an imperfect dynamic and fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to clearly communicate in both written and spoken English & Turkish. Excellent presentation skills.
  • No military obligation for male candidates.
