Job Description:

Ensure that maintenance activities are properly monitored, coordinated, and executed, in agreement with the Company policies and standards, and by using MAXIMO system as a tool. The following tasks should be carried out:

• Identify and plan all works, e.g., preparatory, main, linked, etc., that are required prior to the issuance of Work Orders to the executing unit or discipline. Provide a list of necessary materials, tools, equipment, devices, etc., to ensure no loss of time and satisfactory results of works.
• Take action on all studies concerning the plant. Discuss with and interview personnel, contractors, suppliers, certifying authorities, etc., to identify and gather relevant information that is of interest to maintenance operations. Translate the identified and gathered information into effective programs for Preventive, Predictive, third-party, extraordinary works, etc.
• Assist in the requisition of appropriate and correct materials.
• Establish the sequence of activities (electrical /instrument / mechanical disconnections and connections, scaffolding, painting, etc.). Plan the work among involved work disciplines and identify special tools and equipment other than normal ones for normal and especially for extraordinary and special jobs (lifting, degassing, pressure testing, etc.).
• Take all necessary actions to monitor the progress of works and collect interesting data that are useful to the present activity and could be a reference for better working methods to improve efficiency. This includes man-hours, activity and material costs, etc. Provide a correct flow of communication in submitting relevant reports as a reference for efficient and optimized utilization of resources, e.g., manpower, materials, equipment, etc.
• Issue a work plan package including a Gantt chart, resources calculation, materials lists, etc., for critical maintenance works, partial shutdowns, or emergency maintenance interventions.
• No issues with traveling abroad and performing duties.
  

Educational Level and Training:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HND Diploma, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, and writing) is vital.

Required Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in their line of profession and actual experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&I diagrams and flow charts.
• Able to work as a member of a multinational team.
• Able to mentor local junior staff in technical and professional development.
• No issues with traveling abroad and performing duties.
