REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for the experienced Purchasing Specialist to work at our branch office in Ankara with the following qualifications :

· Candidates need to have written and spoken fluency in English (job interview will be done in English);

· Knowledge of Italian is a plus;

· MSc/BSc or BA in a construction oriented field;

· Experience in the Construction Materials Sector (min. 3 years);

· Knowledge about tiles and natural stone;

· Previous experience in the Procurement (min. 3 years);

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel;

· Proactive and positive attitude;

· High attention to details, having an analytical mind-set and excellent numeracy & writing skills;

· Able to work multi-task and meet strict deadlines;

· Good interpersonal and relationship building skills to communicate with other teams and vendors;

· Residing in Ankara.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Managing the full lifecycle of material management – RFQ stage, collecting proposals from suppliers stage, material order stage and finally material delivery stage;

· Researching alternative materials for the value engineering in order to provide more cost effective or profitable proposals to the Sales Department and keep Elementym competitive in terms of pricing and lead time;

· Coordinating the procurement and logistics activities between New York, Milan and Ankara offices;

· Supporting the Sales Department;

· Gathering the samples from European and local suppliers;

· Coordinating with the warehouse teams in USA and Italy for delivery of materials and stock management of materials;

· Creating and daily updating ERP materials inventory database;

· Coordinating a daily communication with New York team.

Hours and Environment

· Office Environment with an international business management philosophy;

· Monday to Friday, from 08.30 am to 18.30 pm.
