Application Server and DevOps Engineer

We are looking for Application Server and DevOps Engineer  to manage our Application servers and  start and collaborate  our on-premise cloud infrastructure and DevOps journey   on Redhat Openshift with various tools.  

Qualifications: 

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or relevant field,

·        Experienced in Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat,

·        Experienced in .Net runtime problem determination, administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning,

·        Experience with shell, phython, powerhell scripting

·        Experience with modern languages development practices and frameworks (such as JavaScript/dot Net/Java),

·        Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift,

·        Knowledge of Network and Security Virtualization Platforms,

·        Good communication, coordination, documentation and reporting skills,

·        Strong team work with pro-active, analytical thinking, highly motivated and result oriented personality,

·        Up-to-date on the latest development trends

·        Good understanding of DevOps tools and culture

·        Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines

·        Good understanding of containerizing and orchestrating Docker (preferably with Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalent),

·        Eager to be part of team to start DevOps initiative

Responsibilities: 

·        Improve the frameworks, techniques, and tools to provide increased quality and agility for our Development teams,

·        Build infrastructure as code to provide a highly scalable and configurable set of environments,

·        Develop pipelines for development, QA, ops, and others as needed

·        Responsible for installation, configuring, upgrade, and monitoring of Application servers and on-premise cloud infrastructure,

·        Responsible for capacity planning, performance analysis activities, and incident management,

·        Responsible for providing maximum system availability and uptime for our IIS environments,

·        Analyzes and resolves problems associated with the servers, applications, and software,

·        Designs and develops platforms with a focus on automating process using scripting languages, and automation platforms,

·        Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts,

·        Understanding of automation and configuration tools

·        Understanding of application development lifecycles and continuous deployment tools.
