Karpowership, part of the Karadeniz Holding, is the owner, operator and builder of the only Powership™ (floating power plant) fleet in the world and plays an active role in medium to long-term investments; providing access to fast-track, affordable and reliable electricity. Powerships have a range of 30 MW to 470 MW and are delivered ready to operate in less than 60 days. Currently, Karpowership owns and operates 22 Powerships with an installed capacity exceeding 3,500 MW and another 5,000 MW are under construction or in the pipeline. In addition to a Powership fleet, Karpowership owns and operates its own LNG fleet. With expertise and experience in the field, Karpowership serves as a one-stop-shop for LNG to Power solutions, as a single provider delivering all parts of the value chain; including but not limited to LNG sourcing, transport, delivery, regasification, and electricity production; with the mission of powering life wherever needed. Will be working mainly for our Power Plant project(s) in West Africa. The candidate shall be based in the Headquarters in Istanbul and responsible of the administrative and commercial part of Powership project's operation and implementation. Also, she/he will be responsible to follow and ensure the fulfilment of the contractual commitments. He/she will be traveling as required.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications;

• Degree in Engineering, MBA or masters degree is a plus,
• At least 5 years experience required, preferably in an international environment in Project Management,
• Experience in the Power generation sector is ideal,
• Hands on experience in contract execution (i.e.  project scheduling, licence/permit applications, financial closing etc.).
• Experience in internal/external stakeholder management is essential
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken, 
• Excellent command of MS Office Applications,
• High level of presentation skills,
• Financial understanding and business mindset,
• An outstanding eye for detail with a drive to provide exceptional administrative support,
• Ability to perform in a complex cross-functional business environment,
• Ability to work well as part of a strategic team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, completing multiple complex tasks simultaneously,
• Keen and effective team player,
• No restrictions for frequent travelling (if required) inside and outside of Turkey,
• No military obligation for male candidates. 

Daily Job Description

• Support managing proactively all contractual matters related to the project, follow performance criteria within the scope of the contract and defend the company against any possible contractual breaches and preserve interests,
• Contribution to the evaluation process (cost, schedule, technical content, etc.) of identified development ideas during the Business Plan preparation,
• Submission of periodically progress reports.
• Drafting, Issuing formal correspondences with the project stakeholders
• Managing internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting business development activities for the expansion of the project inside and/or outside project country.
• Monitoring daily fuel consumption values and fuel operations for optimization.
