INSB TURKEY REGIONAL OFFICE

INSB Class is looking for a new candidate who is willing to start his career as a class surveyor within our developing activities. The position is located in our Tuzla Office in Istanbul. The candidates will be trained internally by our officers in Istanbul or by the officers of INSB Head Office in Pireaus Greece.

JOB DEFINITION

• Undertake classification / certification and statutory surveys and inspections of ships-in-service according to rules and regulations.

·       Carry out ISM/ISPS/MLC audits.

·       Ensure that all survey/inspection reports are completed and submitted in accordance with the given format and timeframe, totally depending on the facts and subjective view.

·       Attend all necessary training and courses to get the relevant qualifications to perform required duties.

        Keep up-to date with the new rules, regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• To have bachelor degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Arvhitecture
• To be fluent while using English Language.
• To have a driver’s license
• To be able to travel in a short notice.
• To be an effective team member.
