QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently hiring a passionate High School Chemistry Teacher for the 2024-2025 Academic Year at our Esenyurt, Atakent and Başakşehir campuses. We are seeking someone with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for facing challenges, who can inspire our students to truly understand the beauty of Chemistry and its real-life applications.

You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student, regardless of their background, with an excellent education and real choices in life. As a passionate practitioner, you will deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons that inspire a love of learning and go beyond the classroom to enhance success.

You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly adapt to dynamic classroom environments. You will work alongside a fantastic team of teachers and administrators who will support you as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Teaching certification
• Compliance with Ministry of National Education (MEB) appointment requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Native or near-native proficiency in English
• Ability to enliven lessons in the classroom by motivating students with modern research techniques, especially in Chemistry education
• Equipped to deliver and enhance curricula and programs
• Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
• Engage with students and foster positive relationships
• Experience preparing students for national or international exams (AP, SAT, IB) is a plus
• Ability to work with a diverse student body and faculty
• Open to working around new cultures and ideas, positive-minded, and a team player
• Technologically literate, able to creatively use educational technologies to deliver curriculum face-to-face or online
• Provide adequate challenges to ensure excellence in student learning
• Committed to creating a productive learning experience for students
• Proven track record of improving student performance
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn from others
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environment
