Location: Istanbul (Kadikoy) - Hybrid

Your mission

We are looking for a new colleague to join our growing Legal Department. As a legal team member, you will be working closely with our sales and delivery teams regarding commercial and contracting queries, intellectual property cases and other related legal matters. Besides being a strong and linguistically profound communicator, you will also need the eagerness to learn new things every day and the willingness to read through various laws, regulations and practices around the world.

Your main responsibilities

• Actively leading the contract review and negotiation process, with a core focus on commercial terms and operational aspects.
• Provide key support to sales and delivery teams through detailed analysis and evaluation of contracts for commercial benefit.
• Draft and finalise legal documents (contract drafts, letters, reminders).
• Provide legal advice with a business-oriented attitude
• Evaluate contracts from the perspective of their impact on business objectives, making recommendations to management.

Your skills and competences

• Excellent English & strong communication skills. German language is a plus
  
• Bachelor degree in Law (or equivalent)
• Former experience as an in-house lawyer within a corporate legal department, preferably within IT sector
• Strong experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Knowledge of international contractual rules, clauses and standards as well as the ability to interpret and use them in the review and negotiation of the contracts 
• Ability to work both independently and in the team 
• Pro-activeness and readiness to support with patience and willingness to cooperate
• Strong communication skills
• Self-organization, can-do-attitude
