QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Requirements:

  • 4+ years working and relevant experience building L2 and L3 infrastructure and providing customer services to WS players on the market
  • 5+ year “up-front” experience
  • Good knowledge of the current telecommunications trends, especially on L2 and L3 layer, the access and core infrastructures
  • Strong business orientation
  • PC knowledge (MS Office)
  • Fluent in English (written and oral)- other language from CEE zone is advantage
  • Familiar with Cisco and Juniper platform

Purpose of the job:

The role is to plan, direct, and coordinate the design of the company IP network elements and the entire L2-L3 infrastructure on the company core and access network. Creating studies and tasks considering the cost and technical capabilities for the network development initiatives and making suggestions for the network optimizations. Giving support for the operational related activities as well. Active participation on the customer related services technical evaluation process giving suggestions and creating unique solutions. Supporting the IP equipment purchasing tasks too. Being able to configure and set up services and handling 3nd level troubleshooting related configurations mainly on the Juniper and Cisco platforms.

 Under the supervision of Director Planning & Sales Support, manage the “solution finding process” in our integrated international organization, serving across several countries over a united network. Ensure seamless cross-country support for solutions and network design.


Responsibilities:

1)     IP Network planning role

a)     Evaluate the current desing on the TTI L2-L3 network and make suggestions for the new desing considering TTI internal planning guidances

b)     Advise and communicate the technical solution and the associated costs

c)     Ensure that the technical solutions are in line with the TTI future demands

d)     Ensure that the technical solutions are in line with the certain IP design site rules

e)     Ensure that the communicated RFS date are technical solution is doable and in line with our internal and the partners guaranteed RFS.

f)       Ensure that the deployed infrastructure is entered in the NOS/CRM/SAP system and well-administrated

g)     Creating well defined and clear network designs which are feeding the implementation process

h)     Develop TTI L2-L3 network layers 

2)  Implementation related role

a)     Supports engineering team in effective implementation within deadlines.

b)     Follow up the deployment procedure and fine tune the solution according to the feedbacks

c)     Active role in external and internal the technical related discussions with the relevant teams and partners

            3) Team work local & throughout the group

a)     Support the update and optimization the Planning processes.

b)     Support and develop relations and efficiency between departments.

c)     Build good relations to relevant Turk Telekom and EWRO departments.

d)     Support HR restructuring processes throughout the company.

            4) Internal documentation, process and IT development

a)     Define and document internal technical standards and associated costs.

b)     Support the definition, planning and development of a documentation and process supporting software tool.

c)     Active support in internal IT developments and implementations projects with definitions, needs and targets.

5) Vendor relations

a)     Support the development of vendor relations

b)     Active cooperation with the Suppliers
