Software Engineering Intern

Essential Responsibilities

You will be responsible for programming a feature and/or a small feature set. You will contribute to the team and work with the guidance from the senior team members or your manager but work independently.

In this role you will:

• Be involved in SDLC and improve your knowledge on Lean/Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, Software and Product Security and Scalability requirements, documentation and QA practices.

• Be a part of new generation technology, learn/improve Docker/Kubernetes technology usage.

• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

• Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.

• Understand core data structures and algorithms and could implement them using language of choice.

Qualifications/Requirements

•Software development cycle knowledge.

•Java technologies knowledge.

•Web development experience.

•Database systems knowledge.

•Basic data structures know-how.

•Proven records for hands on SW development.

•Have experience or willing to learn Docker and Kubernetes technology.

Desired Characteristics

•Undergraduate (year 3/4) of a Computer Science/Engineering or Software Development related faculty.

•Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing).

•Eager to learn.

•Open to communication.

•Team player.

•Self-motivated.
