Country Sales Manager

We are looking for a Country Sales Manager for the subsidiary of our client, a German family company producing technical products for various segments in the manufacturing industry. Reporting directly to the headquarters in Germany, the Country Sales Manager shall be responsible for the management and development of all sales-related operations in Turkey. The position requires a highly motivated individual to actualize high growth potential.

Job Description:

• Develop sales strategies to grow the business in the local market
• Reach turnover and profit targets in line with the company guidelines
• Gain new customers from different industries, support existing key accounts
• Organize field visits, provide technical consulting and product training to customers
• Maintain and develop the dealer network
• Calculate and submit quotations
• Effective team management and development
• Efficient inventory management
• Analyze the competitive landscape and business results

Your profile:

• University degree, preferably in engineering, and strong technical understanding
• Several years of sales management experience for technical products in need of explanation
• Distinctive awareness of cost and return
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, and/or German
• Advanced communication and persuasive skills
• Customer-oriented, self-motivated and eager to succeed with a hands-on approach
• Strong team leading skills, ability to motivate
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Conversant with MS-Office applications
• Willingness to travel, and B-class valid driving license
