Mechanical Design Engineer

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least B.Sc. degree on Mechanical Engineering
• At least 1-year experience in mechanical engineering
• Experience in CAD software
• Fluency in verbal and written English – the position requires report writing and documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mechanisms, mechanical part/system design, structural design and CATIA V5/V6
• Background and knowledge about manufacturing processes – especially in machining, sheet-metal and welding
• Experience in defense and aerospace industry

• Knowledge about engineering materials especially in automotive and defense industry

Job Description:

• Integration of sub-systems in/on to the vehicle.

• Design of necessary integration interfaces, brackets, holders, mounting details & mechanism according to requirements defined both by contracts and by the internal authorities

• Design of specific sub-systems

• Preparation of engineering documentation including technical drawings

• Presentation, justification and reporting of design studies

• Participating in research and development projects

• Improvement of existing systems and cost analysis for design alternatives

• Support of prototyping, testing and verification of the design

• Support of procurement, production and testing effort of the designed products

• Interface with project management and customer during the development and verification phases
