QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Purchasing Team Leader for our growing organization in Manisa.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility within the scope of duties in Purchasing Management including strategic purchasing of production materials and supplier development
- Technical and disciplinary management of employees, implementing and living the leadership culture and principles
- Permanent optimization and improvement of the applied purchasing methods/processes and resources (costs, quality, ability to deliver)
- Responsible for the strategic purchasing of significant value. Drive localization activities, identifying and introducing new suppliers.
- Initiates, coordinates and ensures all activities for the optimization of the relevant methods and systems used in particular SAP applications in the defined area.
- Monitor targets for cost saving, capacity and supplier performance. Identifying weak points and coordinating measures to achieve targets.
- Fast reaction oriented to customer requirements in the event of changes in the procurement network, supply bottlenecks and special customer requests, taking cost considerations into account.
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in related fields.
- 4 - 6 years of professional experience in Purchasing Departments
- Several years of experience in production complemented by knowledge of business administration.
- Experience in project management and coordination
- Comprehension and control of complex interrelationships in connection with value streams/supply chains
- Knowledge of SAP and general IT systems
- Leadership experience
- Specific product and production knowledge
- Fluent negotiation skills in English
- Strong customer and service orientation
