Job Description:

The Maintenance and Engineering Manager will be reporting to the Plant Manager, based in Osmaniye, Turkey. It will oversee and have the responsibility of the management and development of the maintenance team's activities, in collaboration and agreement with their direct Manager. Maintenance team includes the Maintainers, Service Supervisors and Tooling Technicians. Its coordinate the activities related to mechanical and electrical technical support related to line operations, as well as plant utilities and facilities. They will be expected to ensure compliance with engineering and maintenance standards and procedures, as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of the activities and projects to meet established functional targets. We are seeking a self-motivated leader who can successfully lead our plant maintenance team of skilled and experienced individuals, ensuring efficient communication between all departments under his/her responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans.
• Manage maintenance budgets effectively.
• Optimize machine and plant availability through proactive maintenance strategies.
• Monitor and manage energy usage to meet sustainability goals.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Manage and develop a team of maintenance professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee spare part inventory management to ensure optimal levels.
• Manage project capital expenditure, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance supervisory or manager roles. .
• Experiences of project management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent budget management and analytical abilities. .
• Effective and systematics problem solving skills.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analytical thinking, detailed oriented, results focused.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and practices.
• Experience in managing personnel and developing teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software.
