Machinery Safety Engineer

We are looking for an “Machinery Safety Engineer”to join us on our journey for the future of mobility!

How You Will Contribute

In this role, you are expected to:

·        You will plan and carry out Machine Risk Analyzes

·        You will plan and follow up the improvement projects on the machines according to the results of Risk Analyzes

·        You will conduct the safety checks in new machine installation processes and 3M changes

·        You will identify and follow up the countermeasures of work accidents, fire and environmental events that must be carried out by the Engineering Directorate

·        You will coordinate the Safety Basic Activities within the Engineering Directorate and provide necessary trainings

·        You will ensure the coordination between Bridgestone global safety group and Brisa on the basis of machinery safety issues

·        You will make reporting for requested documentations / files to Bridgestone global safety group

·        You will organize legal obligation checks such as inspections of pressure vessels and lifting and transport vehicles

·        You will take initiative to implement innovations / revisions by following the machinery standards

Before You Come on Board…

We believe you will fit well if you :

·        have an university degree from Mechatronics or Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering Departments

·        have experience on machinery & parts design, machinery safety project activities

·        can speak, write and communicate in English

·        are good at planning and organizing

·        have strong enthusiasm for learning

·        value and strictly follow safety and environmental rules

·        have good communication skills and like to work with a team

·        have good analytical skills

·        are able to work independently and structured 

·        can start your own journeys with your excellent written and communication skills

·        are ready to take on new adventures with your open-minded, enthusiastic and observer character

·        are already living, or able to live in Kocaeli
