R&D Design Engineer

Bitron Turkey, currently looking for R&D Design Engineer for our Manisa plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering departments.
• Fluency in English
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position,
• 3 years of experience
• Preferably with experience in plastic design components for HVAC or White Goods.
• At least 2 years of experience in 3D design, preferably PTC Creo 3.0, CATIA V5 or NX UG,
• Have strong skills in product marketing, scheduling, and resource management.
• Having basic knowledge about design needs and manufacturing assembly technologies for products made of materials such as plastic, steel, rubber, etc.
• Having a technical background with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering, preferably having knowledge of mechatronic devices and systems.
• Adaptation to teamwork,
• Willingness for occasional domestic or international travels,
• Having a Driver’s License.

Job Description

• Designing, developing and improving new and existing products for the automotive, white goods and HVAC industries,
• Working and collaborating with an international project team and other R&D and testing locations worldwide
• Preparing and organizing detailed design studies, product drawings, simulations and calculations during the project development stages with reference to material and product design specifications.
• Project management with customer-specific requirements
• Creating test specifications
• Helps define and incorporate customer requirements and product features into the design of specified products, ensuring compliance with operational, cost, schedule, safety, reliability, quality and production feasibility parameters
• Error budget development, risk assessment and mitigation, design and execution of experiments, validation processes
• Recommends and implements improvements and/or changes in products and/or materials
• Transferring experience and knowledge from other competence centers of the company
• Supporting the engineering team for changes necessary for tool and fixture design and improvements.
