Business Development Engineer (Project Engineer)

We are looking for a Project Engineer for our Business Development department in Bantboru Gebze plant. Our company is positioned in the top 5 companies globally and is the pioneer manufacturer in Turkey by supplying copper brazed double wall and high frequency welded single wall steel tubes for automotive brake and fuel systems and household appliances as condenser and evaporator tubes.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in engineering field

Good command of English in oral and written is a must, 

At least 2 years of  Work experience in project management in the automotive environment as TIER 1 is a must. (such as Ford, BMW, Daimler etc)

Strong follow up, communication skills and ability to convince are required.

Problem solving and analytical thinking. Strong leadership skills and using own initiative in critical paths

To be resident in Gebze, İzmit or Istanbul Asia side or willingness to relocate.

Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA is a must,

Knowledge of Quality System Management ( IATF, VDA etc) will be an asset

Driving actively and having no restrictions for domestic and international traveling.

No military obligation for male candidates.

Knowledge in CAD systems (Catia V5) will be an asset

JOB DESCRIPTION

 Being responsible from the actual customers and keeping in touch with new potential customers (mostly abroad).

Executing detailed project planning activities and following tasks from the request of quotation phase to serial production.

Analysing technical specifications and technical drawings. Making feasibility team meetings, creating project quotation, following prototype productions, compiling related product/process documentations and maintaining contract processes with customers.

Coordinating all related departments at all phases in order to deliver products at the committed objectives to customers.

Visiting customers actively and regularly, developing good relations with them.

 Responsible for achievement of Project KPIs, Quality, Timing.

To Carry-out and organize APQP activities until SOP

To Plan projects and risk estimations against possible delays in the course of project progress

To ensure the safe course of project flow according to agreed project plan

To Control and submission of PPAP documentation

To lead FMEA studies for new projects

To Prepare and issue weekly and monthly reports to customers
