Mechanical BIM Engineer

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputable universities
• MSc in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of design experience in design of complete building mechanical systems for various projects to include ventilation, heating/cooling, plumbing, fire protection and BMS.
• Knowledge and experience on Building information modeling (BIM) software (Navisworks, Solibri, Revit, Magicad).
• Knowledge and experience on parametric design/programming language (e.g. C#, Python) would be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of computer programs (MS Office, Autocad, HAP, Trace 700 or  similar mechanical calculation programs/tools)
• Experience on design to local and major international codes
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken would be an advantage
• Working experience in multinational and English speaking environment
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and to take on new challenges
• Ability to liaise and communicate within integrated multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
• Available to work flexible hours to catch the tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, able to work in a team
• No restriction for traveling(national & international), availability for short and long-term assignments worldwide
• Have a driver’s license
• Completed military service for male applicants

İŞ TANIMI

The successful candidate will work as a Mechanical BIM Engineer/Design Engineer under the supervision of senior leaders.

• Mainly responsible for BIM tasks
• Preparation of BIM environment for the projects
• Interdisciplinary coordination with related software (e.g. Navisworks, Solibri)
• Communication with other ARUP offices for progressing BIM capabilities?
• Preparation of BIM documentation?
• Supporting Arup Staffs on BIM related issues
• Undertake mechanical-based building services designs
• Execution of mechanical system calculations and preparing reports through all design stages
• Preparation of technical specifications and schedule of items for mechanical systems
• Inform regularly his/her superior about all progresses and problems
