We are looking for a "Accountant/Bookkeeper" for our customer who has established itself as a major player in “Automotive”.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Matric with Mathematics or accounting,
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience in an admin/finance environment (preferably in automotive supplier industry),
• Competent Excel User,
• Knowledge of SAP (basic knowledge),
• Excellent level of Turkish and English written and oral,
• Written and verbal communication with suppliers and internal departments,
• Have a good attention to detail and work well with figures,
• Flexibility in terms of remote working.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Bookkeeping according to local law,
• Preparation and verification of invoices (GIB portal) ,
• Accurate processing of invoices via SAP,
• Payment transactions/ Processing of daily sales and matching of daily payments,
• Setting-up on-line bank payments ready for release,
• Ensure compliance to policies/ procedures regarding payments,
• Month end closing process according to accounting standards GAAP and IFRS,
• Reporting to Controlling department,
• Payment of taxes (KDV 1 & 2) etc. / Preparing tax forms in accordance with local tax procedure law,
• Stamp duties,
• Consulting services for financial issues.
