Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a “Maintenance Manager” with the following qualifications to join us in the copper enrichment plant of our company in Kastamonu Hanönü region. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from the Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities,
• Minimum 10 years working experience in maintenance department in mining industry, 
• Minimum 5 years maintenance team management experience,
• Supervision of both mechanical & electrical group is a must,
• Advanced level of English reading, writing, speaking skills,
• Good command of SAP PM module,
• Compatible, dynamic, has managerial skills and leadership features,
• Can make fast and correct decisions,
• Analytical mindset, result and solution oriented.
  
  

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Makes the budget plan of the maintenance unit in line with the determined strategies and targets and follows up during the year.
• Ensures that periodic maintenance is planned and preventive and periodic maintenance is carried out in the plant, all lines and fixed machines together with the planning unit,
• With the mechanical and electrical units, ensures any mechanical and electrical malfunctions that may occur are intervened immediately,
• By making periodic maintenance plans of the machinery, equipment, benches and auxiliary facilities in the plant, ensures that they can work at optimum rates and are kept in a well-maintained condition,
• Ensures that the critical spare parts in the machines are backed up and kept ready by following the defined warehouse-stock minimum and maximum levels that can be utilized at any time,
• Makes/Implements plans to achieve the quantitative targets regarding maintenance and repair,
• By following technological developments closely, plans the technical innovations that increase the production quality and capacity regarding the machinery and equipment in the facility in constant communication with the process and planning units,
• Coordinates the preparation of studies, researches and projects to increase efficiency in the unit, and regular and timely periodic maintenance in order to minimize incidental stops,
• Coordinates taking measures to reduce spare parts consumption,
• Ensures that the necessary measures are taken for deviations from performance and efficiency indicators resulting from the activities of his/her units,
• Monitors and controls the electricity, natural gas and water consumption of the plant and conducts energy saving studies,
• Controls the work given to contractors for electrical and mechanical works within the factory. Ensures that subcontractors work in accordance with occupational safety rules,
• Before purchasing new machines, reveals the infrastructure requirements and makes the necessary preparation and coordination, and provides the necessary support in machine assembly,
• Ensures the training and development of the units affiliated to him/her and monitores the training activities,
• Supports quality, environment and occupational safety management system studies.
