Freelance Fashion Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Fashion Design Specialist to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background in Fashion Design along with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the textile industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with design workshops internationally, demonstrating strong coordination skills.

Develop mood boards and Trend Briefs tailored to company clients' needs.

Interpret consumer expectations and preferences, integrating them into design concepts.

Create commercially viable collections aligned with current market trends and target audience demographics.

Work closely with management teams to align design concepts with brand vision and strategy.

Proficiency in the UK market dynamics, with preference given to candidates with previous engagements with  premium high fashion brands in the UK market.

Utilize design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and preferably 3D Clo program to develop designs.

Ensure harmony across different product groups (Knitwear, Woven, Denim) within designed collections.

Possess expertise in fabric quality, printing techniques, embroidery, accessories, and product configuration.

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion Design or a related field.

A portfolio showcasing previous design projects and relevant experience.

Proven track record of successful collaborations in the fashion industry.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible and adaptable to evolving project requirements.
