Underground Mine Planning Senior Engineer

Yılmaden Holding, established in 2014, is the metals and mining division of Yıldırım Group of Companies, a fast-growing industrial conglomerate based in Istanbul, Turkey. At Yılmaden, we work together across all business units located in 8 different countries with one objective that is extracting the valuable minerals such as chromite from the ground and turn it into ferroalloys, chrome metals and chemicals.

We are looking for an Underground Mine Planning Senior Engineer to be assigned at our headquarters in  Maslak, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
• Fluent in English
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the mining industry, experience with underground mine planning
• Willing and able to travel and work in remote locations for extended times
• Have experience in mine design, project optimization, equipment selection, production scheduling, and opex and capex estimation, as well as project management
• Professionally using Mining software programs
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Cross discipline and cross cultural communication experience is highly desirable

Requirements:

• Monitoring and tracking unit operation cost
• Preparing daily production reports by taking production data from the relevant departments
• Preparing and following up mine planning and operation budget
• Following production parameters keeping and ensuring those parameters to be at desired level
• Monitoring and tracking KPIs
