We are looking for an Accounting Manager for our client who is operating in coatings sector. It is a joint venture company and leader in its market. The position reports to Financial Affairs Manager and manages the accounting team.

Responsibilities: 

• To be responsible for the management and administration of accounting, to have knowledge of all applicable legal legislation and practices
• Able to manage accounting processes and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Ensure all accounting transactions are fulfilled on time and in accordance with legislation and lead and maintain day-to-day accounting operations
• Plan and monitor month end and annual financial closing processes
• Preparing tax returns and maintain tax filings (Income tax, VAT, and Stamp duty)
• Monitor, analyze and prepare Balance Sheet reviews
• Be able to perform cost analysis and develop strategies to achieve financial goals
• Managing e-invoice, e-ledger, e-delivery note and e-archive systems
• Support Internal and External Audit Teams
• Provide Data to Statistical Institution and other government offices
• Directing the accounting team on necessary issues and evaluate and improve their performance

Qualifications

• Having graduated from Business Administration, Economics and Finance departments, preferably having a master's degree in one of these fields
• Having at least 10 years of experience in accounting and 2-3 years of experience in team management
• Having a good command of English
• Able to think in detail and analytically, solution and result oriented, strong communication
• Advanced planning, analysis, reporting, control, tracking, coordination and presentation skills
• Preferably having a Certified Public Accountant certificate
